What are guilds in Summoners War?

Guilds are a core part of progression in Summoners War, offering players the chance to team up, compete, and earn valuable rewards together. By joining a guild, you gain access to exclusive content like Guild Battles, Siege Battles, and daily missions that provide resources essential for growth. Whether you’re a beginner looking for support or an advanced player aiming to compete at a higher level, understanding how guilds work and how to make the most of them can significantly boost your overall progress in the game.

Why should you join a guild early?

Joining a guild early in Summoners War can significantly speed up your overall progression. Even as a beginner, you gain access to valuable rewards such as guild points, scrolls, and shop items that help strengthen your account much faster than playing solo. Early guild participation also allows you to start accumulating resources for key items like Ifrit pieces and relic upgrades, which take time to build up. On top of that, being in a guild helps you learn the game faster through shared knowledge, team support, and exposure to more advanced strategies, giving you a strong foundation for long-term success.

How to Join a Guild

You can join a guild in Summoners War in several ways. In this section, we’ll explore each of them.

Joining a Guild by Searching

You may already have a guild in mind that you want to join—if so, you can simply search for it and apply to join.

How to Search for a guild?

Click on the “Community” tab, then select “Guild”, go to “Guild Settings,” and enter the name of the guild you want to join.

Joining from a Chat Channel

There are 2 ways to join a guild from a chat Channel. One of them is when a guild promotes itself and the other is through a users profile.

Joining from Guild Promotion

In this case the guild name will be highlighted as a clickable item in Summoners War. You simply click on the guild name and then click “Join”. Here is an example shown below.

Joining through a Username

In this case, you’ll need to click on a player’s username, then select their guild name, and from there you can apply to join the guild.

How to Leave a Guild

You can leave a guild in Summoners War by going to the “Community” tab, selecting “Guild,” and scrolling to the bottom of the member list. There you will find the “Leave” button.

Guild Rewards & Benefits

There are many advantages to joining a guild in Summoners War, including access to extra scrolls for summoning new monsters and earning guild points, which can be used to purchase a variety of valuable items in the guild shop. In addition, participating in Guild Battles and Siege Battles provides rewards like crystals, summoning pieces, and other progression materials. Being part of an active guild also helps you grow faster through shared knowledge, team support, and access to exclusive content that isn’t available to solo players.

Guild Shop Rewards

In the guild shop, some of the most important items to prioritize are Ifrit summoning pieces, Relics, and Relic Power-Up Stones. Relics are especially rare and highly valuable, making them a top priority whenever they’re available. Outside of the guild shop, the only other ways to obtain relics are by spending crystals or purchasing them from the Arena shop, which makes guild access one of the most reliable sources. As you can see in the image below, I am only buying the Relic and the Relic Power-Up Stones.

Guild Content

In Summoners War, there is a wide variety of guild-specific content that offers unique challenges and rewards. Guilds can participate in activities such as Monster Subjugation, Guild Rival Battles, World Guid Battle, Siege Battles, Tartarus’ Labyrinth and more, each designed to encourage teamwork, strategy, and consistent participation while rewarding players with valuable resources for progression.

Lets start off with the simplest and explore Guild Rival Battles first.

Guild Rival Battles

Guild Rival Battles are a PvE guild activity in Summoners War where your guild faces off against a rival guild’s preset defense teams. Instead of real-time PvP, you simply attack game-generated defensive setups and earn points based on your results. The objective is to defeat as many of the rival guild’s defenses as possible using your three attacks, alongside your guildmates’ attempts, before the timer runs out. The rival guild does not attack back, making it a purely offensive mode that rewards teamwork, strategy, and consistent participation from all guild members.

World Guild Battles

World Guild Battles in Summoners War are a competitive guild mode where you face off against other players’ defenses in a non-real-time format. Instead of live combat, you attack pre-set defense teams created by rival guild members and earn points based on your performance. Before the battle begins, it is important that all guild members set up their defenses properly, as these will be what opponents attack during the event. Success depends on teamwork, smart offense planning, and having strong defensive setups to hold against incoming attacks.

Siege Battles

Siege Battles are a competitive guild mode in Summoners War where three guilds face off against each other at the same time in a large strategic battlefield. Instead of direct real-time combat, players attack pre-set defense teams placed on various towers and bases across the map. Each guild member uses their attacks to defeat enemy defenses and capture bases, earning points for their guild based on successful wins and how long they hold territories. The guild that reaches the required score first—or has the highest score when time runs out—wins the siege. Siege Battles heavily rely on team coordination, strong defense setups, and smart offensive planning, making them one of the most strategic and competitive guild activities in the game.

Monster Subjugation

Monster Subjugation is a guild-based PvE content mode in Summoners War where all guild members work together to defeat Monster Waves of the 3 attributes (Wind, Water, and Fire) and then fight a powerful boss monster over a set period of time. Instead of fighting other players, you deal damage to a single boss using five of your monsters in a team composition. Each guild member’s attack contributes to the guild’s overall progress and rewards. The boss has multiple phases and increasing difficulty, requiring players to choose teams that can survive and deal consistent damage carefully. As the boss’s HP is reduced, you will unlock chests that can be opened at the end of the event. Monster Subjugation emphasizes team coordination, strong PvE damage setups, and consistent participation to maximize guild-wide rewards.

Tartarus’ Labyrinth

Tartarus’ Labyrinth is a high-level guild dungeon in Summoners War where your entire guild works together to clear multiple stages of a challenging labyrinth and ultimately defeat the final boss, Tartarus. Each guild member contributes by using teams to clear different zones filled with enemies, traps, and mini-bosses, all of which must be defeated before the final stage unlocks. As you progress deeper into the labyrinth, the difficulty increases significantly, requiring well-built teams that can handle mechanics like debuffs, damage mitigation, and sustained fights. Defeating Tartarus at the end rewards the guild with valuable loot based on overall performance and completion. This mode emphasizes guild-wide participation, strategic team building, and strong PvE consistency to fully clear the dungeon and maximize rewards.
