“Abdullah bin Muhammad al-Nufayli informed us; Ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us, from Muhammad bin Ajlan, from Al-Qaqa’ bin Hakeem, from Abu Salih, from Abu Huraira, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, ‘I am to you like a father; I teach you. So when one of you goes to relieve himself, he should not face the Qiblah, nor should he turn his back towards it. He should not cleanse himself with his right hand.’ He used to command using three stones and prohibited the use of dung and bones for cleansing.”
