Narrated by Muhammad ibn Bashshar, who narrated from Wahb ibn Jarir, who narrated from his father, who said, “I heard Muhammad ibn Ishaq reporting from Aban ibn Salih, from Mujahid, from Jabir ibn Abdullah, who said: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) prohibited us from facing the qiblah while urinating. I saw him, before he passed away, facing it, and it was just a year before his death.”
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي قَالَ، سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ إِسْحَاقَ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبَانَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ نَهَى نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنْ نَسْتَقْبِلَ الْقِبْلَةَ بِبَوْلٍ فَرَأَيْتُهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُقْبَضَ بِعَامٍ يَسْتَقْبِلُهَا .
