Abu Dawud 29 (Book 1, Hadith 29)

Narrated by Ubaidullah ibn Umar ibn Maisarah, who narrated from Mu’adh ibn Hisham, who narrated from my father, who narrated from Qatadah, who narrated from Abdullah ibn Sargis, that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) forbade urinating in holes. They asked Qatadah, “What is disliked about urinating in holes?” He said, “It was said that these are the homes of the Jinn.”
