Narrated by Muhammad bin Al-Muthanna, who said: Narrated by Abdul-Wahhab Al-Thaqafi, who said: Narrated by Ayyub, from Abu Qilaba, from Anas, who reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Three qualities, whoever possesses them, will taste the sweetness of faith: that Allah and His Messenger are dearer to him than anything else, that he loves a person only for the sake of Allah, and that he hates to revert to disbelief after Allah has saved him from it as much as he hates to be thrown into the Fire.”
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلاَبَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ “ ثَلاَثٌ مَنْ كُنَّ فِيهِ وَجَدَ حَلاَوَةَ الإِيمَانِ أَنْ يَكُونَ اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ مِمَّا سِوَاهُمَا، وَأَنْ يُحِبَّ الْمَرْءَ لاَ يُحِبُّهُ إِلاَّ لِلَّهِ، وَأَنْ يَكْرَهَ أَنْ يَعُودَ فِي الْكُفْرِ كَمَا يَكْرَهُ أَنْ يُقْذَفَ فِي النَّارِ ”.
