“Narrated to us Muhammad ibn Ar’ara, he said: Narrated to us Shu’bah, from Zubaid, he said: I asked Abu Wa’il about the Murji’ah (a deviant sect), and he said: Abdullah narrated to me that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: ‘Abusing a Muslim is an act of transgression, and fighting against him is an act of disbelief.'”
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَرْعَرَةَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ زُبَيْدٍ، قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا وَائِلٍ عَنِ الْمُرْجِئَةِ،، فَقَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ “ سِبَابُ الْمُسْلِمِ فُسُوقٌ، وَقِتَالُهُ كُفْرٌ ”.
