Narrated to us Musaddad, who said: Yahya narrated to us from Isma’il, who said: Qais ibn Abi Hazim informed me from Jarir ibn Abdullah, who said: “I pledged allegiance to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) for establishing prayers, giving Zakat, and offering sincere advice to every Muslim.”
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي قَيْسُ بْنُ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ بَايَعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَلَى إِقَامِ الصَّلاَةِ، وَإِيتَاءِ الزَّكَاةِ، وَالنُّصْحِ لِكُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ.
