Abu Dawud 41 (Book 1, Hadith 41)

Narrated to us Abdullah ibn Muhammad al-Nufayli, narrated to us Abu Mu’awiya, from Hisham ibn Urwah, from Amr ibn Khuzayma, from Umamah ibn Khuzayma, from Khuzayma ibn Thabit, he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was asked about using three stones for cleaning after relieving oneself. He replied, “With three stones that do not have any dung on them.” Abu Dawud said: Abu Usamah and Ibn Numayr narrated it in this manner from Hisham ibn Urwah.
