“Al-Hasan bin Amr, meaning Al-Saddoosi, informed us; Waki’ narrated to us, from Shu’bah, from Abdul Aziz, who is the son of Suhayb, from Anas. In this narration, he said, ‘O Allah, I seek refuge in You.’ Shu’bah also said, and at one time he said, ‘I seek refuge in Allah.'”
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، – يَعْنِي السَّدُوسِيَّ – حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، – هُوَ ابْنُ صُهَيْبٍ – عَنْ أَنَسٍ، بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ قَالَ ” اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ ” . وَقَالَ شُعْبَةُ وَقَالَ مَرَّةً ” أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ ” .
