“Amru bin Marzooq informed us; Shu’bah narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Al-Nadr bin Anas, from Zaid bin Arqam, from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) who said, ‘Indeed, these privies are inhabited by jinn. So when any of you goes to the toilet, let him say, ‘I seek refuge with Allah from male and female devils.'”
حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ النَّضْرِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ “ إِنَّ هَذِهِ الْحُشُوشَ مُحْتَضَرَةٌ فَإِذَا أَتَى أَحَدُكُمُ الْخَلاَءَ فَلْيَقُلْ أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الْخُبُثِ وَالْخَبَائِثِ ” .
