Bukhari 22 (Book 2, Hadith 15)

Narrated by Isma’il, who said: Malik informed us from Amr ibn Yahya al-Mazini, from his father, from Abu Sa’id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) who reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “The people of Paradise will enter Paradise, and the people of Hell will enter Hell. Then Allah, the Exalted, will say: ‘Bring out of the Fire whoever has an atom’s weight of faith in his heart.’ They will then be brought out having become blackened, and will be thrown into the River of Life (or the River of Living Water). They will then grow like the growing of seed on the bank of a flowing stream. Have you not seen how it grows yellow and twisted?” Wahib said: Amr informed us on the authority of ‘Amr.

Note: The term “River of Life” or “River of Living Water” refers to a river in Paradise mentioned in various Hadiths. The term “حَيَاةِ” (hayat) can be interpreted as “life” or “living,” and it is sometimes mentioned as “الحياة” (al-hayat), emphasizing the concept of life. The exact nature of this river is not explicitly described in the hadith, and different scholars may have different interpretations.
