“Narrated to us Ibn Salam, he said: Informed us Muhammad ibn Fudayl, he said: Narrated to us Yahya ibn Sa’id, from Abu Salama, from Abu Huraira, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said, ‘Whoever fasts during the month of Ramadan with faith and seeking reward, his previous sins will be forgiven.'”
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ سَلاَمٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم “ مَنْ صَامَ رَمَضَانَ إِيمَانًا وَاحْتِسَابًا غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ ”.
