Whether you’re just starting out or looking to improve your gameplay, having the right tips can make a huge difference in Summoners War. From optimizing your runes and building efficient teams to managing resources and progressing faster, small improvements can lead to big results. In this guide, we’ll cover essential tips to help you play smarter, save time, and get the most out of your account.

Energy Tips

Energy Depletion

During the early game, try to time your energy usage so that you run out of energy just before leveling up. This way, when you level up and your energy is fully refilled, you don’t waste any excess energy and can maximize your farming efficiency.

Don’t Collect Inbox Energy

You should avoid collecting so much energy that it exceeds your maximum cap. Energy naturally regenerates over time, so staying at or above the cap prevents this regeneration and leads to wasted energy.

6★ Monsters for Energy

This is more of a late-game tip, but 6-starring a monster rewards you with energy. Once you reach a stage where creating 6★ monsters becomes easy, you can take advantage of this by 6-starring units more frequently to gain extra energy.

Craft an Energy Extractor

Craft an Energy Extractor as soon as possible to generate free energy over time. It’s a simple but valuable upgrade that helps you farm more consistently without relying entirely on natural energy regeneration or refills.

Save Crystals for Energy

It is generally recommended to use your crystals only to purchase energy, as this is the most efficient way to spend them. Energy directly supports farming, which drives your overall progression, making it the best long-term investment compared to other crystal uses.

Social Points Energy Recharge

Make sure to use Social Points Energy Recharge by regularly sending and receiving gifts from friends. Always give Social Points (gifts) to your friends so you can build up Social Points, which can then be used to purchase extra energy refills. This is an easy and consistent way to gain more farming time without spending crystals.

Farming Tips

Clear Scenario Quests

Make sure to clear Scenario Quests as you progress through the game, as they provide valuable rewards that help strengthen your account. By completing these quests, you can earn useful items such as runes, scrolls, Forbidden Evolution Scrolls, artifacts, and crystals. These rewards become even more valuable at higher difficulty levels, where the rewards improve and help speed up both early and mid-game progression.

Use Unknown Scrolls as Fodder

Using Unknown Scrolls as fodder is a simple but effective way to progress more efficiently. Instead of relying only on naturally dropped monsters, you can use the units summoned from Unknown Scrolls to level up, evolve, and create 5★ and 6★ monsters much faster. Since these scrolls are very easy to obtain in large quantities, they provide a consistent and reliable source of fodder, helping you build your teams without wasting valuable resources.

Utilize Secret Dungeons

Make sure to take advantage of Secret Dungeons to farm monster pieces for units you need, especially for fusions. This is one of the most reliable ways to obtain specific monsters, helping you complete fusion requirements without relying on luck from summons.

Crafting Tips

Craft Reappraisal stones weekly

Make sure to craft Reappraisal Stones and Ancient Reappraisal Stones every week, as they become extremely valuable later in the game. These items allow you to reroll rune stats, making them essential for optimizing your best runes and improving overall performance as you progress.

Rune, Artifacts, and Relic Tips

Don’t Power up every Rune to +12

Don’t power up every rune to +12—only invest in runes with at least 3 useful substats. Upgrade step by step (+3, +6, +9, +12) and stop early if the rolls don’t improve the stats you need.

Sell Flat Stat Runes on (2/4/6)

Make sure to sell flat stat runes on slots 2, 4, and 6, as they are generally much weaker compared to percentage-based stats. These runes offer poor scaling and are rarely useful, so selling them helps you save space and focus on better rune upgrades.

Know which stats can roll

Make sure to know which stats can roll on each rune and artifact, as this helps you make smarter decisions when upgrading and rerolling. Understanding this can save you a lot of resources in the long run. If you’re unsure, be sure to check out our guide that covers all possible stat rolls in detail. Use Auto Engrave if unsure

If you’re unsure which option to choose, make use of the Auto Engrave feature. It automatically selects the most suitable setup for your monster, helping you make safe and effective decisions without needing to overthink the details.

Dungeon Tips

Trial of Ascension Strategy Deck

If you’re struggling to clear a floor in Trial of Ascension, checking the Strategy Deck and copying a proven team can be a big help. It gives you access to tested setups that are designed to handle specific stages, making it easier to progress when your own teams aren’t quite strong enough yet.

Arena and Real-Time Arena Tips

Always do Rival Arena Battles

Make sure to always complete Rival Arena Battles, as they provide crystals as rewards along with other useful resources. It’s an easy and consistent way to earn extra crystals, making it a valuable activity to include in your daily routine.

Arena Shop

In the Arena Shop, you should prioritize purchasing Devilmon, Relics, and Relic Power-Up Stones. These items are extremely valuable for progression, especially Devilmon for skill upgrades and Relics for boosting monster performance in later stages of the game.

Miscellaneous Tips

Daily Wishes

Always use your Daily Wishes in Summoners War — some players have been lucky enough to summon rare LD Nat 5 monsters from them, so it’s always worth taking your chances every day.

Find Active Friends

Find active friends and fill your 50 friend slots with players who log in regularly. This increases your chances of receiving more daily gifts (social points).

Always Achieve 100 Mission Points (Daily Mission)

Make sure to always reach 100 Mission Points in your Daily Missions, as the rewards are extremely valuable. By completing all daily objectives, you can earn 300,000 Mana Stones, 10 Unknown Scrolls, +3 Arena Invitations, 1 6★ Legendary Rune, 50 Energy, 1 Light & Dark Summoning Piece, 30 Crystals, and 2 Transcendence Summoning Pieces. These rewards add up quickly and play a big role in your overall progression.

Always Participate in Events

Make sure to always participate in events, as Summoners War frequently offers a wide variety of them. These events provide tons of valuable and often limited-time rewards, making them one of the best ways to gain resources, materials, and progression items quickly. In collaboration events, you can even obtain rare and exclusive monsters, which not only strengthen your account but can also increase its overall value.

Don’t Waste Reappraisal Stones

Don’t waste Reappraisal Stones—only use them on 6★ Legendary runes with a strong innate (5th) stat. Since these items are limited and extremely valuable, saving them for high-quality runes ensures you get the best possible results when rerolling.

Use the Summoners Way quest line

Make sure to use the Summoner’s Way quest line, as it provides structured progression goals along with valuable rewards. Completing these missions helps guide you through the early and mid-game while giving you useful resources like runes, scrolls, and other upgrade materials to strengthen your account faster.

Utilize Craft Building

Make sure to utilize the Craft Building to create useful materials, runes, and progression items. It’s an important resource for crafting things like reappraisal stones, symbols, and other valuable items that can significantly boost your account over time.

Save every NAT 5 (Unless Dupe)

Make sure to save every Nat 5★ monster (unless it’s a duplicate). A common mistake players make is feeding away strong Nat 5s too early and later regretting it. There is always a chance that monsters get buffed in future updates, so keeping them ensures you don’t miss out on potential value later in the game.

Guild Tips

Join a Guild as early as possible

Make sure to join a guild as early as possible, as it provides access to valuable rewards, extra content, and useful resources that help speed up your progression. Being in a guild also allows you to participate in various activities and benefit from a supportive community, giving you a strong advantage early on.

Guild Shop

Always make sure to purchase the weekly 5★ Rainbowmon as well as the monthly Relic and Relic Power-Up Stones. These items are extremely valuable for long-term progression, helping you evolve monsters faster and strengthen your artifacts, so they should always be prioritized whenever they reset.
